Outings at Macoby Run and The Wetlands

From corporate functions to fundraising to family reunions, Macoby Run will enhance your golfing experience.  We specialize in Tournaments and Outings.  Download our 2008 Information Package to help you organize your outing.

The golf course can accommodate 20 to 200 golfers with consecutive tee times or shotgun starts.  We provide signs for everything from hole sponsorship to closest to the pin, longest, or straightest drive prizes.  The rates per golfers including carts for 2008 will be $28 weekday and $43 for weekend.

With an outdoor Pavilion that seats 200, a delicious restaurant to cater the event, a walk-in cooler to house ice cold beverages and service with a smile, The Wetlands is your choice for food before, during or after your outing.  We will be releasing our 2008 price list sometime in February.  In the meantime, download our 2008 catering menu (pdf) to give you an idea of what prices were last year.

2008 Catering Menu

MENU A: $14.95 PER PERSON

► Hot dogs served with sauerkraut and condiments after 9 holes.

            ► Hot roast beef on Kaiser rolls

            ► Barbecued chicken

            ► Hamburgers/cheeseburgers with fixings and condiments

            ► Baked Beans, Potato Salad, Macaroni Salad, Pasta Salad or Tossed Salad (choice of 2)

            ► Vegetable tray with dip

            ► Tap Birch Beer, Bottled Water and chips/pretzels served throughout the buffet

MENU B: $12.95 PER PERSON

            ► Hot dogs served with sauerkraut and condiments after 9 holes

            ► Barbecued chicken

            ► Hamburgers/Cheeseburgers with fixings and condiments

The Wetlands can design a menu to satisfy any group.  The options above are some of the possibilities.  However, we also offer steaks, clambakes and other fine dining options to meet your needs.  Please call Sheila to discuss your menu 215-541-0161 or 866-MACOBY-4.

Minimum number of golfers for Wetlands to cater is 32.  A $100 deposit is required for all outings upon booking; please make checks payable to THE WETLANDS, INC.

All the above prices include tax and gratuity.  We will provide all cups, plastic, plastic ware, napkins, and trash bags.  Your group is responsible for putting all trash in the receptacles in the pavilion and we will then dispose of them.

You are responsible for the payment of the number of golfers that you signed on your contract.  You have seven days prior to your outing to confirm your final number.  If you will be having any assistants or spouses who will be eating, they must be included in the final number.

Absolutely NO alcoholic beverages are permitted on Macoby Run Golf Course property unless they are purchased at The Wetlands.  There are no coolers permitted on the course except in the case of medical necessity.

Six packs are sold in the Pro Shop for $8.00 each in a bag with ice.  There is a limit of two six packs per cart.  Tournaments can offer coupons to foursomes valid for soda or beer.

Groups can also purchase ¼ kegs or ½ kegs of beer for consumption after golfing.  This will be served in the pavilion; no beer will be served out on the course.  $100 for ¼ kegs and $160 for ½ kegs.  Beer prices are for basic domestic brands; if your group members prefer any other brand, please call for availability and price.

There will be no charge for the use of the pavilion if The Wetlands caters your tournament.  If you cater yourself, there will be a $250.00 charge for use of the pavilion.
